The pizza world’s Michelin. Inspectors eat anonymously; the World 100 was announced 15 September 2026 at the Teatro Mercadante in Naples. World #1 is Napoli on the Road, London (Michele Pascarella). Una Pizza Napoletana, New York, is 2nd. Confine, Milan, is 3rd. Pizza Maker of the Year 2026 is Daniel Semrani of gigi’s, Sydney. Pizza of the Year 2026 is Pomodori at QT Pizza Bar, São Paulo.

Campionato Mondiale del Pizzaiuolo — Trofeo Caputo, 23rd edition. Six hundred pizzaioli, thirty-five countries, timed bakes. The crown category is Pizza Napoletana STG. 2026 champion: Simone Zullo of Fratelli Pulcinella, Sydney. Second and third: So Jung Kim (Korea) and Rui Ebina (Japan).

Accademia Nazionale Pizza DOC. The 2026 final is 10–12 November, so Giuseppe Cutraro of Paris is still the champion. He won 2025 Pizza Classica with a provola-and-pepper pie finished with roasted San Marzano. That pie is on the recipes board, credited to him.
